Teacher Bio:

Rin has developed a uniquely fluid and evolving voice in dance which offers a peculiar stretch beyond genres. With exposure spanning more than two decades, she has dabbled with movement forms such as ballet, kung fu, jazz, gymnastics, hip-hop, and more. She eventually took a deeper interest in fusion belly dance, which gradually morphed into what can be described as “experimental” fusion. Needless to say, the outcome is quite unique.

Rin’s profound passion for sound, paired with her music background in piano, has led her on an exhilarating path of electronic music composition in recent years. She experiments with her love of creating music and dance, occasionally combining the two in classes and performances. Rin engages in organic experimentation with “flow” in her personal practice. She often emphasizes awareness in her classes to invite students to tap into their direct experience, facilitating environments in which dancers can feel personally inspired by curiosity to develop their own vision.
